接受性词汇学习和产出性词汇学习对中国五方面词汇知识习得影响

在第二语言词汇习得研究中,各种词汇学习方法效果对比研究依旧是国内外研究者持续关注的热门问题之一。接受性词汇学习方法和产出性词汇学习方法在我国大学英语课堂中的运用很不平衡,接受性词汇学习方法以其易操纵性被广泛采用,而相关实证研究却表明产出性词汇学习方法更为有效。先前的此类研究中词汇知识习得效果仅限于对词的意义和词形的考察。当下研究者普遍赞同学习者对词汇的真正习得不仅体现于对目标词意义和词形知识的掌握,同时还应包括对其它如,联想、语能、句法等知识的习得。对比接受性词汇学习方法和产出性词汇学习方法对学习者多方面词汇知识习得影响的研究相对很少,因而本文试图以实验的方式对这一问题进行探索。本实验以20个生造词为目标词,从接受和产出两个角度研究接受性词汇学习方法(阅读三个带注释的语篇)和产出性词汇学习方法(用目标词造句)对中国大学英语学习者词汇的正字法、联想、语能、句法和意义五个方面习得的影响。受试者为60名非英语专业的大学生,实验采取被试内设计,即：一个实验组依次完成两种词汇学习任务,要求受试完成第一项任务后,立即投入第二项任务的学习,两项任务的学习时间以顺利完成每项任务的要求为准,任务完成后,受试观看十分钟的无声短片,接着参加五份产出性和五份接受性的词汇知识测试。一周之后进行了延迟后测,采用调整后的词汇知识测试卷。通过对比两组方法对学习者词汇习得的影响,本实验试图探索两组学习方法对五方面接受性词汇知识和五方面产出性词汇知识习得的具体作用以及两组方法在即时后测和延迟后测中的相对效率。本文的主要统计方法为均值比较、重复多因素方差分析。本文通过对实验数据的定量分析与定性分析,得出以下结论：(1)接受性词汇学习方法并未更有助于促进我国大学英语学习者对目标词五方面接受性词汇知识的习得；(2)产出性词汇学习方法更有助于促进我国大学英语学习者对目标词五方面产出性词汇知识的习得；(3)在即时后测中,我国大学英语学习者在产出性词汇学习方法下学得的词汇知识明显多于在接受性词汇学习方法下学得的词汇知识；(4)在延迟后测中,我国大学英语学习者在产出性词汇学习方法下记得的词汇知识依旧明显多于在接受性词汇学习方法下记得的词汇知识。本实验结果丰富了接受性和产出性词汇学习方法效果对比的实证研究;有助于我国英语教师与学习者意识到,在词汇教与学中不仅应重视词汇量的扩充也应重视多方面词汇知识的同步学习；对我国大学英语词汇教学也具有一定的指导意义。【关键词】：接受性词汇学习产出性词汇学习接受性词汇知识产出性词汇知识
