简述阅读利用课本阅读资源，提高学生阅读能力

【摘要】《初中英语新课程标准》对学生阅读能力的要求比原教学大纲的要求更高，阅读是学生学习外语的有效手段，笔者着眼于充分利用课本教材并结合泛读教学，积极探索有效的教学方法来培养和提高学生的阅读能力。

《初中英语新课程标准》对学生阅读能力的要求比原教学大纲的要求更高，培养初中学生的阅读能力也是基础教育阶段英语教学的重要目的之一。阅读是学生学习外语有效的手段，在初中英语教学中如何提高学生的阅读能力，是师生们反复思考的一个问题，为此，从着眼于充分利用教材并结合泛读教学，积极探索有效的教学方式来培养和提高学生的阅读能力。

一、利用教材内容

初中教材中的阅读题材涉及面广，信息量大，内容生动，课文内容突出培养学生的语言运用能力。我充分利用教材中课文本身内容，教好精读教学，开发学生智力，启迪学生思维，激发学生的观察与思考，从而使学生的兴趣倍增。从认真钻研教材入手，引导学生分析课文，掌握文章的主旨大意，使学生既理解词汇的全面意思及寓意，又能了解全篇课文的逻辑关系进行推理和判断，进而培养学生的综合分析能力，逐步培养学生的阅读能力和习惯。
1.阅读前激发学生兴趣：对一些内容单调的文章，先谈学生感兴趣的相关内容，在他们的阅读兴趣，动机和求知欲被激发后，就会很认真的投入到阅读中去，以达到更好的效果。如教仁爱版九年级英语下册Unit 5 Topic 3 The dragon has become a symbol of the Chinese nation Section D 2a Read and understand 课文时，课前准备一些有关四大发明的文化遗产的图片和文字资料，在课堂展示过后通过问题，让学生思考讨论，随后通过图片把话题引到课文中去，从而为阅读部分要讲到的内容作铺垫和准备，激发他们的阅读兴趣。通过这种形式，不仅使学生增加了对四大发明的历史知识的认识，而且他们更能积极主动地在阅读过程中学习有关的语言知识，提高阅读理解的技能。
2.提出问题，引导学生思考：根据学生当前的知识状况，对他们有所了解或熟悉的内容我采用这种方式导入阅读。如仁爱版九年级英语上Unit 3 Topic 1 English is widely used throughout the world Section C 我设计了几个问题让学生回答
1.Is English spoken by the largest number of people in the world？

2. When and where do you use English？

3. What languages can you speak？

4.How long he you learned English？

5. Do you like English movies？

让学生思考后得出答案，然后我再概括复述如下：More than 3，000 languages are spoken in the world. Of all these languages ， English is the most widely used. Recent studies show that over 400 million people speak English as their mother tongue. The United States has the largest number of English speakers， over 226 million people. About 300 million people speak English as their second language.
English is also widely used by the world’s airlines and in international business. And two thirds of the world’s scientists read in English. About 200 million users of the internet communicate in English， too. The English language is becoming more and more important.导入新课，让学生进行阅读，使学生对英语有更进一步的了解，最后通过课后作业来检测学生的理解程度。
