2012年江苏省英语学科《考试说明》对书面表达提出以下要求: 使用一定的句型和词汇来清楚、连贯地表达自己的意思。在高考英语书面表达阅卷中,优秀作文要求如下:完全完成了试题规定的任务;覆盖所有内容要点; 运用了较多的语法结构和词汇;语法结构或词汇方面有些许错误,但为尽量使用较复杂结构或较高级词汇所致;具备较强的语言运用能力;有效地使用了语句间的连接成分,使全文结构紧凑完全达到了预期的目的。
英语书面表达要求连贯、贴切地表达思想、感情和信息,体现出考生与人交际的能力,有以下几条标准: 切中题意,要点完整,语言准确、得当,行文连贯,条理清楚。句不离词,文不离句。书面表达的基础离不开句子的写作。没有正确的句子就无法表达一个完整的概念,就无法准确传达自己的思想。句子写作不仅需要正确的语法,而且需要句子的质量和句子之间的逻辑。首先要熟悉并掌握形成完整句子的基本框架结构。
通过仔细探讨2011年全国各地英语高考试卷的书面表达,我们发现其中的句型表达呈现以下特点:长句和短句搭配使用,简单句和复合句交替出现,以简单句为基础,配以适当政治论文的并列句和复合句。同一件事,可以用不同的方式、句型来表达。如果句子是清一色的简单句,文章势必单调乏味。而如果全篇充满了冗长的复合句,读起来便会很费力。我们考生要确保在表达正确基础上,适当用一些复杂句型、高级词汇和逻辑连接词汇。
