关于英语课堂学生提问探讨性探讨

近年来,语言课堂提问已经成为很多专家、学者研究的重点。但热门基本集中在教师提问上,而对学生提问的研究相对不足。基于此,作者以Swain的输出假设、元认知理论、社会建构理论和人本主义理论为依据,经过历时三个学期的探索研究,通过改变学习者观念,建立新的评估体系,形成学习小组以及构建宽松和谐的课堂氛围等措施促进课堂学生提问的行为发展。研究数据来源于课堂观察、问卷调查与访谈。作者对研究设计、实施过程与数据分析作了具体的描述。研究显示,学生的提问行为受诸多因素的影响,其中学生的心理因素、学习习惯、课堂结构以及任务形式最为重要。研究结果表明,在教师的引导下,(1)学生的课堂提问行为发生了变化,主要体现在提问频率的增加、提问种类的变化以及提问质量的提高。(2)学生的学习行为也发生了变化,表现在学生英语学习态度的转变与语言学习信念的变化上。同时学生对学生提问这种教学模式的肯定也充分说明了其在英语教学中的有效性。因此,教师必须创建一个宽松和谐的、真正体现以学生为中心的课堂氛围;要熟悉到课堂结构及任务形式对学生的提问行为有很大影响。此外,研究结果也显示,学生的口语水平亟待提高,学生的口语阻碍了他们的提问行为,也影响他们用英语进行交际的能力发展。作者还就后续研究提出了建议。【关键词】：学生提问提问频率提问种类提问质量学习态度语言学习信念
